Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using GuestyList (the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part, do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, event organizers, and guests.
2. Service Description
GuestyList is a web platform designed to help couples and event organizers manage guest lists for weddings and events. Features include RSVP management, table organization, check-in, communications, and more. The platform is available as a web service requiring no software installation.
3. User Accounts
To use GuestyList's full features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. We reserve the right to suspend or cancel accounts that violate these terms or are used fraudulently.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You may not: (a) use the Platform for illegal activities; (b) attempt unauthorized access to other systems; (c) upload malicious or misleading content; (d) resell or redistribute the service without authorization.
5. Guest Data
By uploading guest data (names, phone numbers, emails), you declare that you have obtained the necessary consent to process it. You are responsible for the processing of third-party data. GuestyList acts as a data processor and handles data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
6. Plans and Payments
GuestyList offers free and paid plans. Payments are one-time (not recurring subscriptions). Prices are shown in USD. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Please refer to our refund policy for details. Plans may change with prior notice.
7. Refund Policy
Payments are generally non-refundable. However, if you experience significant technical issues caused by our platform within 7 days of purchase, you may contact us to evaluate a refund on a case-by-case basis. Refunds do not apply to partial service use.
8. Service Availability
We strive to maintain 99.9% availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance. We are not liable for damages resulting from service interruptions beyond our control.
9. Intellectual Property
All GuestyList content (design, code, text, logos) is owned by GuestyList or its licensors. Users retain ownership of their data and content. By using the Platform, you grant us a limited license to process and display your content for service delivery purposes.
10. Limitation of Liability
GuestyList is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the plan in the last 12 months. We are not responsible for data loss resulting from external causes.
11. Cancellation and Termination
You may cancel your account at any time from profile settings. GuestyList may suspend or cancel accounts that violate these terms. After cancellation, data may be retained for up to 90 days before permanent deletion.
12. Modifications
We may update these terms periodically. Significant changes will be notified by email or on the platform with at least 15 days' notice. Continued use of the Platform implies acceptance of updated terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the applicable laws in GuestyList's operating jurisdiction. For any disputes, the parties agree to attempt resolution in good faith before resorting to legal proceedings.
